The next edition of LAMIERA is eagerly-awaited. The international exhibition dedicated to the metal forming machine tool industry and to all related technologies will be back to Bologna, from 11 to 14 May 2016 to show the best production of the sector.
On scene in the exhibition centre of Bolognafiere, the event is promoted by UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE, the Italian machine tools, robots and automation systems manufacturers’ association, and organized by CEU-CENTRO ESPOSIZIONI UCIMU.

After all, in 2014, the world production of metal forming machine tools almost attained 20 billion euro, thus remaining on the same level as the previous year. With a 11% production increase, for an amount of 2,180 million euro, Italy achieved the most remarkable growth among the major players of the sector, affirming its competence in the field and strengthening its third place in the international ranking.
In the spotlight of LAMIERA 2016, according to tradition there will be: sheet metal forming machines, welding, cutting and gas cutting machines, bar and tube working machines, presses, sheet metal blanking and punching machines, treatment and finish, components, accessories.
But there will be much more. On the basis of the success achieved in the past edition, again this year, the organizers will propose BLECH ITALY, a themed area dedicated to materials and carpentry, sheet metal, steel tapes, metal tubes and sections, semi-finished and finished products. With BLECH ITALY, LAMIERA ensures its visitors the widest and most comprehensive overview on the sector, from materials to treatment and to machining equipment.
In addition, in order to give an added value to the presence of operators visiting the trade show, beside the product overview, the organizers will propose a full programme of conferences and Lambda 4.0, an area dedicated to the topics connected with the “smart management” of factories, to Industry 4.0 and to all possible applications in the SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) working in the sector of metal forming technologies.
In support of the internationalization of the exhibiting companies, there will be many B2B meetings with qualified foreign operators and end users, among whom the operators of the delegation coming from Mexico, “Country of Honour” of the 2016 edition. These focused meetings will encourage the contact between exhibitors and potential customers.
