TungCut features unique clamping system which achieves stable tool life and highly accurate machining dimension. Its rich line-up that meets various customer needs provides economic advantage and ease of use.
With remarkable sharpness and low cutting force, the new DGG chipbreaker on 2 cutting edge inserts is suitable for machining heat-resistant alloys and non-ferrous metals, which are often used in the aerospace industries. This addition to the series further increases the productivity and functionality of TungCut in a wide variety of applications.
Main features:
- Applicable for various operations with 2 – 6 mm groove width
- Low cutting force due to large rake angle that delivers efficient machining of workpiece materials which are easy to vibrate
- Sharp cutting edge that provides high quality of surface finish
- Available in 2 types of grades:
- NS9530: Cermet grade for finishing of steel
- KS05F: Non-coated carbide grade with strong wear resistance for non-ferrous metals, such as aluminium, copper, and titanium
