Speroni establishes direct link with Indian manufacturers
Speroni SpA Italy, one of the most prominent names in the designing and manufacturing of Tool Presetting machines has been increasing its prominence in the Indian market. Speroni machines with its versatile features offers an array of products and solutions in the field of Tool Preset, Measurement and Management and Quality Inspection of the manufacturing process.
In the last couple of years, Speroni equipments have become the most preferred choice among the Indian Engineering Industry. Considering the large size of the market in the Indian sub-continent, Speroni India Pvt. Ltd. was established to cater to the increasing demand of Speroni products.
Headquartered in Pune, Speroni India Pvt. Ltd. is headed by Ravi Moolya, General Manager. Speaking on the occasion, Moolya stated that Speroni India will be directly involved in sales & service of Speroni products in the Indian sub-continent.
Moolya asserts that a country like India, needs this kind of presence. Therefore, Speroni is very much in India, directly connected to the Indian manufacturers, through their own people who have the much needed product knowledge. “Our team is factory trained and very much part of Speroni SpA and we represent them in India. That’s the real value for us and that is the reason, why we have formed a company in India,” he added.
Elaborating the company’s views on the technological advancement in India, Moolya said, “The engineering Industry in India has become technologically organised and professionally enlightened about the challenges it has to face on the global scale. The new generation management in most of the industries is exposed to world-class technology, leaving very little scope for conventional style of manufacturing. With increased awareness about adoption of advanced technology, the Indian manufacturers are inducting high-end machine tools, equipments, tooling and inspection facilities in their manufacturing set-up. As a result, in the post globalization era Indian Industry has witnessed many world-class technology players including Speroni enter India.”
The company has elaborate plans for the Indian market, particularly to create more awareness and confidence about the new technology, which would ultimately help them achieve high productivity and precision in manufacturing. Keeping this in mind, the company has introduced the E- Manufacturing Technology concept, with live manufacturing show involving leading global players in machine tools, cutting tools, tool presetting machines, job holding system, tool holding system and CAD-CAM software. The exhibition based on a first-of-its-kind concept was recently organised in Pune from November 21 – 24 2014. The company aims to organise similar events at other prominent industrial hubs in India.
