Seco Tools unveiled the #1 Seco Virtual & Practical Centre in Chennai
Seco Tools, one of the leading global cutting tools manufacturers, opened its latest new generation technical centre in Asia-Pacific. The Virtual & Practical centre, located in Chennai, India, is a new kind of facility that combines high quality on-ground training & education with global virtual broadcast capacity. This will allow for physical events to be run as stand-alone events or be combined with local, regional and global online audiences. The Seco VPC#1 centre is the first of its kind in Asia-Pacific. This new centre is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art production gear, including machine tools, CAD/CAM, tool measuring and setting equipment combined with Seco’s very latest high performance cutting tools. Strategically located close to the international Chennai airport and with world class hotel amenities nearby, the VPC#1 centre can host events for up to 40 physical participants and unlimited virtual audiences.
E-learning modules combined with hands-on trainings, customer specific component run-offs or new product launches are primeapplication examples of the VPC#1. Virtual private events for Seco customers, combined broadcast events with remote specialist participation or the reception of broadcasts from other global Seco technical centres are now possible. The VPC#1 centre in Chennai will also be made available for booking to all of Seco Tools industry partners, customers and distributors.
