The engineering and manufacturing exhibition, Global Industrial Expo was inaugurated today by Mrs Vaishali Darade, Mayor, PCMC, Amit Kandhare, General Secretary, All India Nationalist Youth Congress Party and Yogesh Bahal from PCMC and Mr Shinya Hamano from Big Dishowa in the presence of other dignitaries. Organised by Global Media Communication, the first edition of Global Industrial Expo will be on till November 24 at the Auto Cluster Exhibition Centre, Pune.
Looking at the prevailing positive sentiment of the industry, the maiden show is likely to get a good response from various industry verticals.
The event will also witness another first-of-its-kind initiative, ‘E-manufacturing Technology’. India’s first ever integrated manufacturing solution by metalworking giants will also make its debut on the sidelines of the expo. E-manufacturing Technology aims to impact the precision machining industry with a special emphasis on the Die & Plastic mould industry. The event will see like-minded players – MAZAK (machine tool), Speroni (tool presetter), SCHUNK (work holding), DIJET (cutting tools), ESPRIT (CAM) and Big Dishowa (tool holders) come together as a team to demonstrate the value of advance manufacturing technologies. With the participation of leading brands who showcased their new as well as proven technologies and the who’s who of the industry as visitors, Global Industrial Expo is nothing less than a one-stop shop for the engineering and allied industry professionals. The exhibition features some of the well-known companies such as MAZAK, Speroni, SCHUNK, DIJET, ESPRIT, Big Dishowa, EMTL Sales & Service (Electronica), Syndicate Machines Pvt Ltd, Onward technologies and HITACHI, among others.
One of the exhibitors and part of E-manufacturing Technology initiative Ravi Sane, Country Head, DIJET India adds, “We are showcasing some of the latest tooling solutions along with our partner company at E-manufacturing technology. The idea is to educate people and spread awareness about our latest technologies.”

With the opening of the Pune show, organisers have already planned the 2nd edition in Nashik during the month of April 2015.
