ISCAR expands MULTI_MASTER indexable solid carbide line
Following market demand, ISCAR is adding new items to the current families and a new family of back chamfering geometry. ISACR expanded options for the MM GRIT 28.. grooving and chamfering milling head
MM GRIT 28P-7.0-3.5 IC528
A 27.7 mm diameter with a 7 mm wide full radius groove milling head has been added to the MULTI-MASTER interchangeable solid carbide small diameter, groove milling heads family.
MM GRIT 28K-45A IC528
A 27.7 mm diameter, 45°chamfering head has been added to the existing 18 and 22 mm diameters. The new interchangeable solid carbide chamfering head was designed for larger chamfer sizes, or when there are no width or diameter limitations, and therefore higher stability and higher machining rates can be obtained.
MM GRIT Back Chamfer
New families of interchangeable solid carbide back chamfering and dovetail groove milling heads. Available are 45, 60 and 75° back chamfer milling heads, for a 28 mm minimum diameter or narrow slot.
All of the new milling heads are precision ground with positive rake angles and appropriate frontal and side clearance angles. When mounted on the carbide shank, the tool provides a high degree of stability and rigidity, even when used with large overhang.
IC528 – A tough PVD coated grade with TiCN and TiN layers. Recommended to be used at medium speeds and high feeds on all types of materials.
As in previous expansions of the MULTI-MASTER product line, the company expect that the new items will further increase ISCAR’s market share in the relevant applications.
