With an acquisition of 49% in the AGS Automation GreifsystemeSchwope GmbH fromBer-gischGladbach, SCHUNK the competence leader for clamping technology and gripping sys-tems expands its gripping systems portfolio for the plastics processing industry and for customized gripper solutions. “As a member of SCHUNK, AGS is an important component within the SCHUNK company group.With its agility and sound experience, AGS will provide important inspirationand newmarket opportunities“, emphasizes Henrik A. The AGS Automation GreifsystemeSchwope GmbH employs 35 employees. On a total area of 1,200 square meters, the family-owned company manufactures customized complete gripping systems for the plastics processing industry.
