3DPLM to set up Product Innovation Lab in Army Institute of Technology
Dassault Systèmes R&D Lab in India, 3DPLM Software Solutions Ltd (3DPLM) and Army Institute of Technology (AIT), Pune announced setting up of ‘Product Innovation Lab’ at the College Campus.
3DPLM Product Innovation Lab will provide a platform to the students to explore Product Innovations, undertake experiments to understand the end-to-end concepts in Design-Analysis-Manufacturing and foster ‘Learn by Doing’ approach in Engineering Education. 3DPLM will provide best in class new generation equipment and tools for this lab, which will help students to explore new product ideas and build working prototypes during their education.
The ‘Product Innovation Lab’ will be open for community usage comprising of students, faculty members of the college and industries in the region to explore new product innovations. Being an R&D Lab, 3DPLM will support the ’Product Innovation’ lab through its rich experience and also through its contribution to build strong eco system of ‘Academia – R&D – Industry’.
