Italy will host the 2015 edition of EMO, the world machine tool exhibition promoted by CECIMO, European Association of the Machine Tool Industries.
EMO MILANO 2015 will take place from the 5th to the 10th of October at the prestigious exhibition centre of fieramilano, thus happening at the same time as the last stage of EXPO Milano, the universal exhibition due to attract 20 million visitors to Milan.
Metal cutting, metal forming, welding, heat and surface treatments, robots and automation, mechatronics, tools, parts, components and accessories, metrology and quality control, safety and environment, services.
Machines to build the future, cutting-edge solutions that give the possibility of achieving what mankind has imagined, and technologies on which the improvement of the quality of life depends: this and much more will be EMO MILANO 2015. The spotlight will be on the wide offer of machine tools available, capable of attracting users from all the main sectors that use metal working systems.
Thanks to its machines “for building the future”, as stated in the exhibition’s slogan, EMO MILANO 2015 will be the biggest factory situated in an exhibition center whose pavilions will host the best innovations coming from the world market-related industry.
Pier Luigi Streparava, General Commisioner of EMO MILANO 2015, said “the enhancement of world economy alongside with the increased consumption of machines foreseen by Oxford Economics for Europe and Italy will give an additional boost to EMO MILANO 2015, facilitating those who will attend the exhibition in October 2015”.
In particular, global consumption is due to reach 59.4 billion € in 2014 (+ 3.8%), 64.3 billion in 2015 (+8,3%), 69.6 billion € in 2016 (+8,2%) and eventually 75 billion in 2017 (+8.3%). In Europe, the increase in demand will be marked by a constant, though less impressive positive trend. Italy will register a remarkable increase in machine tool consumption, with growth rates above the European average. In particular, consumption will go up 2.5% in 2014, 5.6% in 2015, 7.3% in 2016, and 8.3% in 2017.
The organisation of EMO MILANO 2015 has been entrusted by CECIMO to the operating structures of UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE, the association of Italian manufacturers of machine tools, robots, and automation systems. Competence, enthusiasm and dynamicity are the distinguishing factors that make the EMOteam capable of assisting exhibitors, visitors, journalists, and all those that will take part in EMO MILANO 2015, and of ensuring that the event will fully meet expectations.
With an experience spanning over many decades, thanks to the organization of the five previous editions of this world travelling show: 1979, 1987, 1995, 2003, 2009: and of BI-MU, the main event of even years with a heritage spanning over half a century, the team is working in the definition and in the organization of all those initiatives that will contribute to making EMO MILANO 2015 a one of its kind event.
