Texas expands its fleet of fabricating equipment with a TruLaser 5030
All Metals Fabricating, Inc. recently expanded its fleet of fabricating equipment with a TruLaser 5030 fiber with an 8kW TruDisk laser with two TruStore 3030 storage towers. The TruLaser 5030 fiber is the only 2D laser cutting machine in the industry available with an 8kW solid-state laser. First available with the 8kW laser in November 2014, this highly productive machine was quickly embraced by fabricators across North America for its ability to significantly boost productivity when processing medium and thick sheet metal. The system at All Metals Fabricating is the first of its kind in Texas.
As a highly productive, universal powerhouse for cutting sheet metal, the 8kW TruLaser 5030 fiber is able to process thin materials with impressive speed as well as thick material with exceptional quality. With BrightLine fiber, the 8kW TruLaser 5030 fiber can process up to 1 inch steel and 1.5 inch stainless and aluminum. The laser source, machine, optics, optional cutting technologies, automation, storage systems and software were all developed by TRUMPF to work perfectly in tandem, achieving maximum performance and keeping cost-per-part to an absolute minimum.
As a job shop processing a wide variety of materials and thicknesses, All Metals Fabricating looked to invest in the best fiber laser machine technology on the market.
