Macpower witnesses string of hits at IMTEX 2015
Macpower CNC Machines, India’s fastest growing CNC machine manufacturing company, part of Macpower group, showed a string of its innovative new products at IMTEX 2015 in Bangalore. The company launched four new sophisticated products at the show that includes MHX 630 – Class Apart Horizontal Machining Center, VTX 600 – Vertical Turning Lathe, MJX 400-11 – Power Packed Bigger Turning Center and MT 200 Y S – Multi-Tasking Wonder with Sub Spindle.

MHX 630 – Class Apart Horizontal Machining Center
Column Moving Series can help one achieve high precision due to the reduced movements of the components being machined. This configuration provides higher productivity and is easy to integrate into an automatic manufacturing line with automation interface on these machines.

VTX 600 – Futuristic Vertical Turning Lathe
State-of-the-art CNC Vertical Turning Lathe Series deliver high speed and precision machining to meet the needs of today’s metal cutting industry.
This construction offers an excellent dampening and optimum conditions for machining precision.
Macpower introduces VTX series – CNC Vertical Turning Centres designed and developed by team that has abundance experience in manufacturing CNC turning centres and machining centres. It is a combination of high power performance and excellent unyielding construction. It is designed to operate in medium and high production environments. Machine is equipped with robust structure design to ensure rigidity, stability, accuracy and flexibility for the machining of chucking parts.
Moderately small footprint saves valuable workspace – perfect for automation or cell automation.
Machine is offered with precision roller linear guide ways, indexing turret, swiveling control panel and dominant spindle. Optional ‘C’ Axis and a live tool turret enable components to be developed in single setup.

MJX 400-11 – Power Packed Bigger Turning Center
The colossal monoblock Grade 25 cast iron bed with wide base span, designed with rib reinforcement to assure maximum rigidity and stability. FEA techniques were used to design a rigid and structurally balanced machine, resulting in superior damping characteristics for minimized vibration to the work piece. 45° slant bed design offers superior workability and chip-discharging capability.
The structure is stress relieved to give life time deformation free service.
Extra wide span between slide ways of 4 circuit linear guide way blocks is designed to withstand against increased acceleration and deceleration rates as well as increased cutting load.
Tow ‘along’ type Tailstock
The stiff tailstock of the MJX series – machines are placed on distinct hardened and ground guideways.
Movable tailstock is clamped manually in its position. Optionally the positioning along the guideway can be programmed.

MT 200 Y S – Multi-Tasking Wonder with Sub Spindle
This is an intelligent way to improve part-quality and throughput in surprisingly less time and cost. It also eliminates not only multiple setups and machines, but entire steps. Offers finished components from bar stock in single setup. It has sub Spindle with latest technology built-in spindle (also called DDS-Direct Drive Spindle).
It has the Y axis with two axis wedge design. The wedge-type Y axis design offers superior positional accuracy and is easy-to-program, which ensures increased productivity.
