ISCAR is introducing PICCO ACE holders with short shanks
ISCAR is introducing PICCO ACE holders with short shanks for the ITSBORE system. The holders can carry a wide range of PICCOCUT inserts.
The new PICCO BH holders can carry any PICCO insert from a minimum diameter of 4 mm and up, thus greatly increasing the variety to hundreds of different items!! This large variety enables the selection of a much more suitable solution for each specific application in terms of overhang, corner radius, edge geometry and carbide grade.
The new PICCO-ACE-BH holders offer additional advantages when compared to the existing IHAXF tools:
- Superb accuracy and grinding quality of the PICCO inserts provide higher surface finish, bore diameter precision and dimensional repeatability
- PICCO inserts are more economical
- High clamping rigidity, fast indexing and superb repeatability due to the PICCO-ACE clamping
