IND-SPHINX Precision celebrates 30th anniversary
IND-Sphinx Precision, leading manufacturer of high precision micro tools – INDSPHINX, PCB drills & router bits and AXIS Tools for micromachining is celebrating its 30th anniversary. The company was incorporated in the year 1987 as JV with SPHINXWerke ,Switzerland 1987 and first facility was set up in Himalayan foothills in Parwanoo (H.P.), India
After having three decades of experience, the company now serves range of industries like PCB, Micro Mechanical, Horology, Writing Instruments, Jewelry, Dental, Auto Components, Semi-conductors, Aerospace and Medical sectors. Tools manufactured by us are designed and customized for the most demanding applications and emerging materials.
“We have constantly challenged ourselves to become the leading producers of round carbide tools in India with sales of over 250 Million tools made so far and have manufacturing capacity of over 1.0 million tools/month. Smallest tool we produce is 0.020mm in Diameter. Our tools are offered with cutting edge process technology including High end Super-finishing and NexGEN PVD and CVD coatings,” Mr. Raghavan Mukund, CEO, IND-Sphinx Precision.
“Our Swiss heritage ensured a sound foundation to produce Tools with Quality, Precision and Consistency. We further innovated and ensured that technological advances are continuously embraced and complimented with our skills and expertise in tool making. Only the best state-of-the-art Swiss, German and Japanese machines and inspection systems are used. Over the years we have been consistently investing substantial part of our capital expenditure for facilities and peripherals apart from the machines,” Mr. Sunil Taneja, Managing Director, IND-Sphinx Precision.
IND-Sphinx Precision exports to over 25 countries with 70% of sale coming from exports. Also, the company is proud exporter to most advanced countries Germany, Japan ,USA and South Korea.
