IMTMA Welcomes Setting Up of Tumakuru Machine Tool Park in Karnataka
Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) welcomes the Government of Karnataka’s exchange of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Government of India for setting up of Tumakuru Machine Tool Park in Vasanthanarasapura. The MoU was signed during the recent Make in Karnataka conference held in Bengaluru. The Department
of Heavy Industry is extending financial assistance to the Government of Karnataka for setting up a world-class industrial infrastructure at the Tumakuru Machine Tool Park.
IMTMA President P.G. Jadeja and Director General V. Anbu welcomed the establishment of an integrated industrial infrastructure facility which will provide an ecosystem for production and make the machine tool sector more competitive. The park will also enable production of hi-tech machine tools, enhance exports and attract investments.
