Hexagon Metrology M&H product line forms strategic alliance with Koma Precision
Hexagon Metrology M&H product line and Koma Precision Inc has formed a new strategic alliance for the North American market. This alliance represents a continuation of their efforts to offer the customers in North America the best support for this market.
M&H initial business footprint in North America started with their own office in Ontario, Canada in early 2004 . Upon becoming part of Hexagon Metrology, the transition was initiated to move the operation to its current location of Wixom, Michigan, From which all service and sales were done.
Through these years, M&H’s business operations have grown considerably in North America, creating a need to establish a broader footing in the this market. This new agreement with Koma Precision Inc allows us the opportunity to grow the market to higher levels. Starting January 1st, 2015, Koma Precision Inc shall be responsible for fulfilling these tasks as the master importer and system integrator. This agreement allows both companies to join forces to support our existing and new customers in an even closer way.
Koma Precision Inc has been successfully involved for decades in the North American machine tool market. Koma Precision Inc’s regional sales and service branches in the US / Canada / Mexico will allow faster response times to meet the needs and requirements of our customers. The new alliance has four service/integration sites as well as eight sales offices.
In order to continue M&H’s customer support, M&H will be providing human resources in North America as well keeping the existing customer hotline.
