Hexagon Metrology Expands in Russia

Hexagon Metrology announce the Opening of the IMS Center in St. Petersburg. IMS Center is the Master Distributor Partner of Hexagon Metrology for portable business in the territory of the Russian Federation.

IMS Center will concentrate its activities on the portable products of Hexagon Metrology such as Absolute Arms, Laser Trackers, White Light Systems as well as the aftermarket activities. This partnership strengthens the overall distribution strategy of Hexagon Metrology, which seeks to obtain a direct selling presence in all of its key markets, with increasing emphasis on Russian market.

IMS Center established a Service Center in St. Petersburg to better service the needs of its growing client base. New Service Center has both, the latest equipment and the highly qualified service specialists, trained by Hexagon Metrology, who can provide the best service in shorter time frames and with saving costs. A new calibration laboratory, located within the Service Center, provides necessary environment and tools for the calibration of the Laser Trackers and Absolute Arms now directly in Russia. Combining people and resources Hexagon Metrology and IMS Center will have the ability to serve the needs of the customers and increase the competitiveness in the region accelerating expansion into Russia.
