The ESPRIT CAM revolution supports technical growth for Indian manufacturing

In addition to significant upgrades in the areas of shop-floor collaboration, automation, tooling, overall productivity and simulation, CNC programmers are using the Machining Cloud Connection in ESPRIT 2014 to access current and comprehensive tooling data.This revolutionary new capability harnesses the power and accessibility of cloud computing to eliminate the hassle of searching through Web sites and printed catalogues to find ideal tooling.

DP Technology has seen notable growth in India’s medical sector, as manufacturers such as Gujarat and Pune, both of which employ complex machine tools to produce complicated, high-quality medical parts, are counted among ESPRIT users. Customers have developed some extremely difficult parts like bone screws, hip joints, knee joints with minimum cycle time.

ESPRIT 2014 cloud-enabled CAM simplifies the selection of cutting tools by offering a list of recommended tools based on machining features and sequences. Using the MachingCloud Connection, ESPRIT programmers are able to perform more accurate simulation with 3D models of tool components and assemblies downloaded from the cloud.
