Dormer Pramet set to showcase a range of rotary and indexable tooling at EMO

A visit to the Dormer Pramet stand at EMO Milan will be a fulfilling experience for any guest, says Antonio Pingaro, Sales Director at Dormer Pramet Italy.

The global manufacturer is set to showcase a range of rotary and indexable tooling at the event (October 5-10) – the first time all its product brands will be displayed together at EMO.

Tools for drilling, milling, threading and turning applications will be available, as well as specific products for the railway sector and heavy machining. Also, all Dormer Pramet products launched in April 2015 is to be displayed at EMO.

Antonio Pingaro, Sales Director at Dormer Pramet Italy, said: “I think we will be able to satisfy and meet the needs of anyone attending EMO with such a comprehensive range of products on display. Whether it’s a multi-material cutting tool for a general engineering application or a more specialised product for heavy machining, we will have something of interest. EMO presents an opportunity for us to display not only our existing range, but also our new products, allowing visitors to get a first close look at their key features and capabilities.”

PFX deep hole drills, MPX multi-application drills, such as the new R459 8xD drill, and Hydra replaceable head drills form part of the Dormer product range at EMO.

Also, the recently added multi-application solid carbide milling cutters, rotary burrs and thread milling cutters, as well as Shark taps, multi-application taps, fluteless taps and countersinks will be found on the stand.

Pramet’s general milling range, including Penta HD, Penta HF, Econ LN and Force AD will be at EMO, along with the recently launched ADMX07 inserts and cutters.

Its range of products for heavy turning, scarfing, chamfering and heavy milling, including the new tangential milling cutters launched in April, are set to make an appearance.

Plus, there will be a selection of cutting tools from Pramet’s railway range, including disk mills, cartridges and indexable cutting inserts to support customers with dynamic rail milling and the re-turning of railway wheels.
