Doosan introduces large NHP 6300 HMC at IMTEX 2015

Headquartered in Seoul, Korea, Doosan has been highly proactive in displaying and demonstrating its brand new prolific products including NHP 6300 at the exclusive IMTEX 2015 exhibition in Bangalore, at Hall 3A, Booth A 102.

NHP 6300 is a large high-speed and high-productivity horizontal machining center (HMC) capable of stable and accurate high-speed cutting via the inverted T-shape X/Z axis of the bed and the roller guideway for all axes.

This large horizontal machining center has been engineered with the biggest-in-class machining specifications. It also allows you to select the spindle speed ranging from 6000RPM, 10000RPM and 15000 RPM thereby enabling you to carry out anything from heavy duty cutting to high-speed machining. Its higher parts durability and more convenient maintenance via the auto tool and pallet changer make it a coveted tool in the machining sector.

NHP 6300 also accelerates higher productivity via minimization of non-cutting time for spindle travel (express travel speed: 60 m/min).

The PUMA 4100/5100 series is eminently suitable for the precision processing of mid-to-large industrial parts such as automotive shafts and oil/gas pipelines. A follow-up model of the PUMA 400/480 series, offers performance that has already been highly appreciated in the global markets including the United States and Europe. The new PUMA 4100/5100 series is equipped with the fastest and most powerful cutting capacity and the surest stability of any model in its class. Furthermore, its user convenience has been expanded considerably through a number of user-centered improvements to its performance and the addition of new features. The new series is also equipped with a total of 22 lineups, so customers can now choose chuck sizes of 12-inch, 15-inch, and 21-inch or big bore class, and a maximum travel distance of one to two meters.

PUMA SMX series – Super Multi-Tasking Turning Center
The PUMA SMX Series is Doosan’s next generation super multi-tasking machine, integrating the capabilities of a vertical machining center and horizontal turning center into one platform. This Series distinguishes itself with a more rigid 90⁰ vertical axis and forward positioned automatic tool changer, for improved milling capabilities as well as enhanced operator ergonomics. Initially the product will be made available in 2 sizes – the PUMA SMX2600 and PUMA SMX2600S, with a 10” chuck and 81mm bar working diameter, and the PUMA SMX3100 and PUMA SMX 3100S, featuring a larger 12” chuck with 102mm of bar working diameter.

VCF 850 series – Column Moving Machining Center Applicable for 3~5 Axes
The VCF 850 Series of column moving machining centers can be used to perform a wide range of machining works using 3 to 5 axes integrated into a single machining center. Designed with embedded and top-mounted type rotary tables and a tilting head, the new VCF 850 Series can process work pieces in any of the 3-, 4- and 5-axes modes. Furthermore, the series boasts a wide machining region with its compact size of 3795 mm (L) X 5440 mm (W), thanks to the incorporation of a moving-column design.

DBC 130S / SL – Compact CNC Milling and Boring Machine with Even More Milling Performance
The new DBC 130S / SL machines use a 130mm diameter boring spindle. The maximum work piece capacity of the new models are between the current DBC110 II and DBC 130 II models and have a compact floor space requirement. The DBC 130 S / SL are designed for heavy duty machining of small to medium work pieces. Its unique features also include machine stability and highly rigid structure, high output and improved productivity, and ergonomic design for operator convenience. The new DBC 130S / SL combine the high rigidity of a 130 class model with a compact design and smaller floor space.
