The 11th DIMF 2017, a biennial exhibition of Doosan Machine Tools, will open on May 17 this year. Doosan Machine Tools has been introducing its new machines and technologies at the DIMF ever since 1997, exhibiting more than 500 new models to more than 30,000 visitors over the last 20 years. Now, the DIMF has become one of the world’s major international machine tool open house. The main focus of the DIMF 2017 will be next-generation turning and machining centers, multitasking, 5-axis machines, swiss turns, and large-sized and automated models, in addition to solutions for the automotive, aerospace, medical, die &mold processing, and smart factory sectors. The machine tool major plans to display about 80 machines and planning to launch 10 new CNCs.
Getting its new machines to market is of critical importance to Doosan Machine Tools. As part of this process, Doosan Machine Tools holds a biennial machine tool exhibition called the DIMF Show at its factories in South Korea.
At the show, dealers, distributors, customers are able to see the new machine tools in action, and to talk direct to Doosan Machine Tools’ engineers and product specialists about the technologies and machines on show.
The previous edition of the show was huge success with 5,700 Doosan Machine Tools’ dealers, distributors, academics and officials, and over 800 international visitors attended the event.
