CGTech Partners with Machining Cloud GmbH
CGTech, publisher of VERICUT® verification and simulation software, has partnered with Machining Cloud GmbH to ensure that users of VERICUT have access to complete and up-to-date cutting-tool data, enhancing the accuracy of their simulation and verification.

Integrating with Machining Cloud will simplify the creation of cutting tools in VERICUT, with tool accuracy built directly from a tool supplier’s CAD design. By collaborating with Machining Cloud partners, VERICUT will be able to intelligently and automatically create accurate tools for machining simulation – identifying the cutting and non-cutting portions of the tool assembly, as well as tool mounting locations and driven points.”
Using the Machining Cloud tablet and desktop apps, users have access to a rich set of features, including Tool Selector, Tool Configurator, Tooling Packages / Jobs, Reporting and Commerce.
Using its advanced search engine, the Machining Cloud Tool Selector eliminates the drudgery of searching through printed catalogues and websites to find the right tooling and associated data.
The Machining Cloud Tool Configurator automatically creates 3D tool-assemblies for download into CAM, simulation and other shop-floor apps. Through this partnership, a VERICUT Machining Cloud Connection will be developed to allow CGTech’s users to directly download a Machining Cloud tooling package and use it within their VERICUT software with minimal effort.
