Your views about the Indian Machine Tool Industry?
In recent years, the demand for important equipment manufacturing industries such as India’s defense, automobile accessories and railways has increased significantly, which has led to a substantial increase in the machine tool industry. Despite the global economic downturn, the Indian economy has remained in balance, with GDP growth of 7%-10%, making it the second fastest growing economy in the world. The rapid development of the Indian economy has led to an increase in demand for machine tools and has become an important area for competition among countries.

What are the top trends you observe in the industry?
Intelligent Manufacturing: Based on the Internet, big data, and intelligent manufacturing equipment has faster and more accurate perception, feedback, and analytical decision-making capabilities, and is more capable of meeting individualised market sales and flexible product production. Unlike the large-scale order production methods currently used in the global manufacturing industry, smart manufacturing makes mass customisation of personalised products possible.

Integrated development for Industrial robots and CNC machine tools: The robot participates in the machining and manufacturing of the machine tool parts to realise automation. The special machine tool serves the precision machining of the robot-specific reducer, improves the processing quality and mass production efficiency which has a great space for integration and development.

What are the new machine tool technologies that are gaining acceptance in manufacturing industry?

In 2018, I have visited India for several times, the professionalism of Indian clients and agencies impressed me so much.

Besides, I am confident about the development of the automobile and auto-components manufacturing industry in India. India is expected to become 3rd largest Auto component manufacture in the world in the next decade.

The global innovation of a new grinding wheelhead with choice of 10 wheelhead versions to optimize design of the machine; Higher power of the grinding wheel help to increased productivity; redesigned Z-guideways provides greater profile accuracy. KELLENBERGER 100 was just displayed in JIMTOF and attracted extensive attention.
