HASCO has extended its product range of ready-to-install single needle valves with the H44201/… and H44202/… hot halves. Users will benefit first and foremost from the high efficiency and safety of the system. The entire needle shut-off unit is installed directly in the corresponding size of mould, making it particularly easy to maintain, and is designed and produced in close cooperation with the customer for the application in question.
The hot half is ready for immediate use, as it comes equipped with Vario Shot nozzles, all the hot runner and connection components, the clamping, frame and nozzle retainer plate, and also the standard parts. The ready-to-connect system simply has to be assembled to the fixed mould plate. After connecting the system to the peripheral control and supply units, users are able to start production straightaway.
All the electrical components and pneumatic or hydraulic drives have been tested by HASCO to ensure their correct functioning and wiring. In addition, all the relevant dimensions such as the nozzle protrusion, nozzle tip and needle position, and guides and centring units are checked on coordinate measuring machines after they have been mounted. The test results are documented in the corresponding protocols. For each hot half, HASCO supplies detailed documentation with system drawings, parts lists, and installation and maintenance instructions, as well as a test report.
H44201/… and H44202/… both come equipped with a USB 2.0 data memory. All the available data and information such as drawings, parts lists and measurement protocols are stored on this and can be called up directly at any time irrespective of the point of use and the mould. Customers can also use the data memory to store their own information about the mould or the injection parameters. The range includes all the common mould sizes from 190×246 mm to 696×696 mm, at attractive prices. With individual columning, size 196×196 mm can also be adapted as the smallest mould.
The concept of the HASCO hot half allows mouldmakers and injection moulders to significantly reduce their design and manufacturing times. This then releases capacity for other tasks. Immediately after coordination with the application technology department, HASCO designs the hot half to the customer’s specifications and, within just a few days, supplies the CAD data in the required format.
HASCO assumes the full manufacturing risk for the H44201/… and H44202/… and ensures a leak-free system with perfectly functioning components. The consistent use of HASCO connector components and control technology in combination with the hot half further increases the guarantee period.
